About our products
House of Icon sells inspired-by fragrances: our own interpretations of well-known scent profiles, made and sold under the House of Icon name.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or connected to any of the fragrance houses or brands referenced on this site. All brand names and trade marks mentioned remain the property of their respective owners, and are used only to describe the scent profile that a product is inspired by. Our products are not counterfeit, and are not sold as the original brand.

Fragrance is personal, and scent perception varies from person to person and with skin chemistry. Descriptions of notes and character are offered as a guide.

Using this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You may not use it in any way that damages it, interferes with anyone else's use of it, or breaches any applicable law.

All content on this site - including text, product descriptions, images, logos and design - belongs to House of Icon and may not be copied or reproduced without our written permission.

Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only once we accept your order and dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order at any time before dispatch, for example if the item is out of stock, the price was listed incorrectly, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

Pricing and payment
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We try to keep pricing and stock accurate, but errors do occur. If we discover an error in the price of something you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatching and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment provider.

Discount codes
Discount codes are subject to any conditions stated when issued, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code may be used per order.

Shipping and returns
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Product images
We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but colours and packaging may appear slightly different on your screen and packaging may change from time to time.

Allergies and safe use
Our fragrances are for external use only. Do not spray on broken or irritated skin, and keep away from eyes and out of reach of children. If you have sensitive skin or known fragrance allergies, test on a small area first. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Fragrances are flammable - store away from direct heat and sunlight.

Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any product or order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the one that applies.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
